Karen Larkin Packwood is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been practicing since 2011. She has also been certified as a counselor Trauma Professional and Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP). She has a wide range of life and educational experiences rooted in helping individuals, families, and couples from a variety of backgrounds and age demographics.
She uses an eclectic style of evidence based therapeutic techniques to help individuals resolve a variety of mental health and personal issues that may include:
- Solution Focused Behavioral Therapy (SFBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Client-Centered Therapy
Teaching and Groups:
Karen Larkin Packwood has been a personal trainer since 1983 and has studied the human anatomy and physiology to better understand the human body and how it relates to the mind. She has extensive studies on trauma and how trauma creates disease and dysfunction in the body and the mind and teaching the fundamentals on good nutrition. She incorporates a holistic approach to healing the mind and body and living a "whole-hearted" life.
